Supporting Our Community
At Springs People, we believe that strong workplaces do more than improve performance. They strengthen communities, create opportunity and contribute to a fairer, more compassionate society. This belief sits at the heart of our work.
Our commitment to social impact has evolved as our organisation has grown. Today, we provide pro bono HR support to charities and community organisations, made possible through the partnerships we hold with our private clients. When businesses choose to work with us, they also help resource essential support for charities that would otherwise struggle to access specialist HR guidance.
Many not-for-profit organisations face complex people challenges with limited capacity, stretched teams and demanding environments. Our support helps them build safer, healthier and more sustainable workplaces, allowing staff and volunteers to focus on the communities they serve.
Through this shared model, every commercial partnership contributes to meaningful social impact. Together, we lift others, strengthen local communities and ensure that every organisation, regardless of resources, has access to the people expertise it needs to thrive.
Our Community Commitment
Our commitment to community impact is an integral part of who we are. Each year, Springs People dedicates time, care and professional expertise to support charities and community organisations in strengthening their people practices and creating healthier, more resilient workplaces.
Smaller organisations often face the same people challenges as larger ones, yet they operate with limited resources and far less access to specialist HR support. Through our community initiative, funded in part by our private client partnerships, we provide pro bono guidance to organisations that would otherwise struggle to access it.
This support helps charities manage complex people issues, build stronger foundations and create environments where staff and volunteers feel safe, valued and able to thrive.
By working with Springs People, our clients contribute directly to this commitment. Together, we help strengthen the vital organisations that support our communities and create meaningful social impact that extends far beyond a single service.

Pro-Bono Advisory Support
Through our community commitment, Springs People offers a limited number of consultancy sessions each year for registered charities and community organisations.

These sessions are funded through the partnerships we hold with our private clients, ensuring that organisations with limited resources can still access specialist HR support when it matters most.

The sessions provide quick, targeted guidance on a specific issue or priority, such as:

• Updating or creating an essential HR policy
• Managing a one-off employee relations matter
• Strengthening engagement or wellbeing approaches
• Designing simple, practical people processes that fit the needs of the organisation

Availability is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis each quarter.

This model ensures that smaller organisations receive the support they need to create safer, healthier and more sustainable workplaces, while our private clients play an active role in supporting their wider community.
